Senior Citizen Condos I Have A Stopped Payment Check That Is 2 Years Old. How Long Do I Have To Pay The Bank To Keep It Active?

I have a stopped payment check that is 2 years old. How long do I have to pay the bank to keep it active? - senior citizen condos

The test was aborted for renting an apartment in Florida for the month of January '06.
My wife became ill and had to cancel. Beneficiary not returned checks. I did not lose the initial deposit of $ 500.00. We are elderly and can not afford to National City Bank
$ 30.00 per year for an unpaid item on the check for $ 2,500.

Check with the bank, but checks will be good for some time - I think 6-12 months - so that no one should be able to cash when

A stop-payment is usually a one-time payment service. The check can be cashed. In addition to that date is no longer valid, is usually 6 months after the date on the check. Monitoring should be revisited, of course, you will not do. I am from Canada and that's how it works here.

The suspension of payment must be in a single charging. Once you stop payment on a check that the bank must comply with the audit. If your bank is charging an annual fee, I suggest you close the account and find another bank.

It is an advantage to use a credit card for the types of transactions that has taken place. You can call the card company and ask them to cancel. You need a good reason. The card company will fight the charge, not to pay. You may have the ability to cancel your payment if you have made with the card.
